Instructor: 

Sayadaw U Rewata received his Bachelor of Science from Yangon University in April 1980 and was ordained on 31 March 1983, with Bhaddanta Vijaya as his preceptor. Since 2 July 2023, he has been teaching Metta and Vipassana Meditation, as well as providing blessing and funeral services.

He has served as Abbot and Meditation Master at several renowned centres, including Hmawbe Chanmyay Yeiktha Meditation Centre and Chanmyay Aungmyay Tharsi Monastery in Myanmar, the Satipatthana Vipassana Association in America, and the Mahasatipatthana Buddhist Society in Malaysia.

His meditation journey began in 1983 at Nyaung Kan Aye Meditation Centre in Yangon, and continued at Mahasi Sasana Yeiktha and various centres across Myanmar. He has also undertaken missionary work in Thailand, Japan, Canada, Nepal, and India.
