Becoming a Volunteer

Only open to all those above 16 years of age.
Prospective volunteers should email their name, contact number, preferred areas/assignments of volunteering, and specialised skills to volunteer@kmspks.org.
A short interview will be conducted by the Volunteer Department
All prospective volunteers are required to attend a volunteers training before starting.

Usher Team 纠察组	All Shrine Halls (Grand Shrine, Inner Shrine, Pureland Shrine, Other Various Halls) 大坛, 内坛, 净土坛, 其他殿坛	To perform crowd control to ensure that the ceremonial activities are conducted smoothly	负责维持各法堂的秩序；协助信众找牌位
		To clear the crowd so as to make way for Venerables and participants to proceed to other halls during chanting sessions and ceremonial activities
		To assist the public in locating tablets
Dharma Logistics Team 法务组	All Shrine Halls (Grand Shrine, Inner Shrine, Pureland Shrine, Other Various Halls) 大坛, 内坛, 净土坛, 其他殿坛	To take out, sort into groups and clean up the dharma logistics item such as Sutra Text, Chanting Equipment, Sutra Stand, meditation & kneeling cushions	负责准备经书，供品和法师们在法会上所需的用品
		Setup of dharma logistics items in each hall
		Present offering items such as incense, water, light and food daily in each hall before chanting sessions start
		keep/change/replenish offering items in each hall at the end of each day
Environmental Team 环保组	Long Corridor and passageway near shrine halls 长廊与殿堂附近的走道	General Cleaning of floor of the pedestrian walkways between the shrine halls	负责保持寺内周围的整沽
		Clearing of waste bins to maintain cleanliness & tidiness of the monastery
过堂组 Alms Service Team	Dining Hall (斋堂)	Serving Meals (including Fruits/Desserts) and drinks to Venerables who are involved in the Shui Lu Chanting	在斋堂内负责法师们用餐所需，包括洗碗和清理工作
		Washing of crockery
招待组 Food Service Team	Dining Hall (斋堂)	Preparation and serving of food & beverages to the general public	在斋堂内负责招侍施主与信众们用餐

Cleaning Duties 清洁职责

The cleaning session takes place once a month, from 12:30pm to 3pm, specifically on the Sunday preceding the 27th day of the lunar calendar. The cleaning tasks involve the cleaning of the Buddha Statue and incense burners.

每个月的清洁工作将在农历廿七前的星期日，12:30pm 至 3pm 进行。清洁任务包括擦佛像和整理香炉等工作。

Writer and Content Researcher 写作与资料蒐集

Craft content focused on Buddhism, children, or event announcements. Conduct interviews with speakers, such as venerable or other noteworthy personalities.

Note: Professional experience preferred.

撰写与佛教、儿童或活动相关的内容。采访法师或演讲者。

备注：有专业经验者优先
