PURCHASING OFFICER
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the teams of Service and Work Order (SWO) and Requisition in managing daily tasks
- Communicate with end users and understand their needs and requirement for the requested goods/services
- Source for vendors/contractors, request for quotations and negotiate for terms favourable to the Monastery
- Follow up with vendors/contractors on goods delivery/work progress, invoices and required documents
- Provide vendors/contractors with timely feedback to ensure goods/services quality and work effectiveness & efficiency
- Ensure compliance with the department SOPs
- Perform documentation and other administrative duties
- Support the Monastery events and activities when required
Job Specifications
- Qualification: Min. Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
- Year(s) of Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Language(s): Bilingual in English and Mandarin to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders
- Required Knowledge/Skill(s): Communication and interpersonal skills, Negotiation and coordination skills, Be tactful and diplomatic in handling of relationships and working well with all levels of personnel
- A good team player upholding integrity and honesty in all dealings

F&B CAPTAIN
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support F&B daily operations including the operations of restaurant
- Handle table arrangement setup works in the dining hall for monastery events and activities
- Deliver F&B services in accordance with the departmental standards
- Assist in F&B inventory management
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure F&B team maintain good standards of personal appearance and hygiene
- Assist Team Lead in constantly improving F&B work processes and practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
- Support administrative tasks when required (e.g. purchasing order, invoice processing etc.)
- Comply with workplace safety and health guidelines
Job Specifications
- Qualification: GCE N-Level
- Year(s) of Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience
- Language(s): Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with both English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

BUILDING & PROJECT SUPERVISOR
We are seeking a committed and hands-on professional to join Building/Project, Facility Department. The incumbent will report to the Head of Department and be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering project(s) while ensuring quality, compliance, and cost control.
Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management
- Manage end-to-end project life cycle including planning, budgeting and close-out
- Develop project scopes, schedule and deliverables
- Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks. Find solution to and pre-empt problems during various stages of the project
- Assist in preparing tender/quotation documents/drawings, scope of works and specifications; calling tenders/quotations; conducting tender interviews, tenders evaluation and award of tenders.
- Assist in the selection of consultant(s) and work with Procurement Team in negotiation of contract terms and conditions with selected consultant(s)
- Manage a team of consultants and offer value engineering initiatives to ensure projects are completed as per KMS’s requirements
- Ensure projects are delivered within the given time and budget, up to the prescribed standards.
- Manage change scopes and the impact on time, cost, and resources to ensure alignment with KMS’s requirement and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, building codes, and safety regulations

STORE CUM RETAIL ASSISTANT
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform store duties such as receiving, checking, storing and delivery of goods etc.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the prayer items such as cleaning the containers of butter lamps etc.
- Support general duties to ensure smooth running of daily retail operation
- Provide counter sales and attend to customers’ enquiries
- Liaise with volunteers for flower arrangement and provide the related logistic support
- Ensure workplace safety and environment cleanliness

- Qualification: Min. GCE “N” Level
- Year(s) of Experience: 1 year of relevant working experience

Duties and Responsibilities
- Be responsible for day-to-day maintenance works (e.g. painting, installation) and cleaning works
- Assist in setting up praying fixtures for the Monastery events
- Provide logistic support when required

- Year(s) of Experience: Min. 1 year of relevant experience
- Language(s): Able to communicate in English and/or Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates)
- Required Knowledge/Skill(s): Effective communication and interpersonal skills, Basic knowledge on safe use of hand tools and equipment
- A team player with positive attitude
- Physical fit to carry out manual works, able to lift and carry up to 20kg without assistance
- Able to work on weekend(s), public holiday(s) and irregular working hour(s)
- Possess forklift license/ Experience in replacing floor tiles and/or wall painting will be of an advantage
KITCHEN STEWARD/DISHWASHER (PART-TIME)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clear used plates from dining tables and self-return tray area
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize crockery, cutlery and other cooking utensils
- Clean pots, pans and glassware
- Weekly cleaning of kitchen equipment (e.g. refrigerator, ice machine etc.)
- Keep dishwashing equipment clean and report for any functional or mechanical problem promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the working areas
- Assist with other F&B duties when required
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health guidelines
