M & E TECHNICIAN

Maintenance of building equipment, daily operations of M & E and support for Monastery’s events and activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for general maintenance, repair and minor installation works
  • Carry out general inspection and rectification works to M & E equipment, lighting, pipe works, sound system etc
  • Assist in meter reading for water and electricity consumption
  • Support and setup for sound system, aircon, fans and lighting
  • Supervise contractors who carry out routine servicing and installation works
  • Ensure proper house-keeping and safety measures

 

Job Specifications

  • Min. 2 years of relevant experience or NTC 2 & 3 or ITC certificate in M & E service (Electrical / Electronic)
  • Able to write simple service report in English
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with English, Mandarin speaking users

CREMATION OPERATOR

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for daily cremation matters
  • Monitor the operating conditions of the 4 cremation machines
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of workplace compound
  • Support the events organized by the Monastery

SERVICE CREW, F & B (FULL-TIME / PART-TIME)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean, dry and store kitchenware
  • Set up and clear of utensils, tables and chairs at F&B for Monastery events and ad-hoc requests
  • Daily rice packing
  • Clean and tidy up dining areas
  • Replenish consumables and condiments when necessary
  • Serve lunch and transfer cooked food into containers
  • Assist at counter / food stalls for sales of mixed veggie rice, rice dumplings etc. during weekends and festival periods
  • Ensure the tea/water level in the dispenser at water station is well maintained and paper cups are replenished when necessary.
  • Clear the leftover food bins
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health

 

Job Specifications

  • Experience in F&B environment and able to communicate in English and Mandarin to manage Mandarin speaking public
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to commit for 5-day work week (Full-time) / 3-day work week (Part-time)
  • Must be able to work on weekend(s), public holiday(s) and irregular hours
  • Possess food hygiene related certificate will be of an advantage
