EXECUTIVE, MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

The incumbent is in a strategic position within the Marketing Communications Department, overseeing various aspects of external communications including but not limited to printed collaterals, social media platforms etc., to excite, educate and engage different stakeholders (public, devotees, government, media etc). The role will give you the opportunity to experience and contribute to the marketing efforts within a non-profit environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Custodian for all collaterals – Produce / edit / proofread content including but not limited to posters, brochures, electronic direct mailers, press releases etc.
  • Oversee marketing efforts by working with internal departments to create public awareness for events and programmes
  • Custodian for all communication channels including but not limited to social media channels, Reception office etc. Responsibilities include moderation, handling feedback, content planning etc.
  • Provide photography/videography, livestreaming support
  • Liaise with Government agencies, community, media, public etc.

 

Job Specifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Mass Communications, Marketing or equivalent

PROGRAMME EXECUTIVE, DHARMA EDUCATION

The position serves the administration of the Dharma Education Department (DED) to ensure smooth operation as part of the Dharma Propagation in the Monastery. You will be involved in the overall operation, planning, implementing, coordinating and executing of existing and new adult Dharma programmes and projects, including managing volunteers, as well as liaising for logistic and administrative support.

EXECUTIVE, MEDITATION HALL

The Prajna Meditation Hall is a five-storey building offering a tranquil space for meditation practice. The incumbent will be taking charge of the department’s programmes and courses held in the Hall with the objective of creating public awareness on meditation practice.

  • Plan, execute and oversee the department’s programmes and courses
  • Attend to public enquiry regarding the department’s programmes and courses (e.g. retreat and others)

ASSISTANT MANAGER, COUNSELLING & SOCIAL SERVICE

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess, identify and chart the direction of the department in accordance to the vision of the Monastery.
  • Plan, develop, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate new programme initiatives that meet the needs of the community and evaluate it periodically.
  • Manage and ensure that counselling and social services are planned and conducted according to the guidelines of relevant professional standards and ethics.
  • Identify professional training needs and recommend relevant trainings to the team members so as to keep abreast with the relevant professional standards.
  • Provide clinical supervision including case consultation, guidance, review of clinical case notes/recordings, clinical guidance and feedback to staff and volunteer counsellors.
  • Recruit, manage, supervise and support the team through regular meetings, case discussions and peer supervision sessions.
  • Manage community information and referrals and assign cases to suitable counsellors and social workers/caseworkers;
  • Evaluate and oversee case recordings to identify risk and monitor clients’ progress.
  • Conduct walk-in & phone intake of information & referral (IR) for new clients as part of the clinical team.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to the Management through periodical reports;

  • Assist the teams of Service and Work Order (SWO) and Requisition in managing daily tasks

  • Safeguard the properties in the Monastery include but not limited to crematorium / columbarium
  • Ensure that fire safety practice is followed
