Through the ages, Buddhist monks made long and arduous pilgrimages to the mountains to refine their minds and pay homage to the Buddha. This practice, which symbolically reminds us of the difficult but rewarding journey to enlightenment, has been passed down, and has evolved into the 3-Step, 1-Bow we know today.

KMSPKS invites devotees to join us in the 3-Step, Half-Bow ceremony to give thanks for the blessings we have received and pray for the swift end to this pandemic. May gratitude and repentance arise in our heart as we remember that all difficulties can be overcome with determination and perseverance.

朝山千古事，天地一头陀。朝山是历代高僧历境炼心的一种修持法门，提醒我们成佛之道的漫长与艰难，流传至今成为三步一拜，每一拜都是对佛陀的礼敬。

这个岁末，光明山普觉禅寺诚邀大众以清净心称念佛号，以恭敬心绕寺礼佛行三步一问讯。藉由一念佛号、合掌问讯，祈愿疫情早日消弭。愿感恩与惭愧在每个人的心中无限开展，只要有愿力，所有的困难都可以一一克服。
