Pastel Nagomi Art for Kids

Step into a peaceful, colourful world with Pastel Nagomi Art, a gentle Japanese art form that uses pastel chalks and simple techniques to create beautiful, dreamy artwork.

Rooted in the spirit of “Nagomi”, meaning peace and harmony in Japanese. This creative experience invites kids to create their own unique pieces, an experience that encourages imagination and self-expression. It is all about creativity and having fun!

In this hands-on session, kids will:

  • Learn basic pastel techniques like blending, smudging and layering
  • Explore colours, textures and shapes
  • Express themselves freely in a calm and supportive environment

 

No art experience is needed, come with an open heart and a love for colours!

Time: 2pm – 3.30pm
Venue: Awareness Hub
Registration fee: $65 (two sessions)
Instructor: Ms. Chan Lai Yong, a certified Zentangle teacher and advanced Pastel Nagomi instructor.
