Mindful Self-Compassion

In this course, discover how to strengthen your inner resources with kindness and love. Enhance your self-care through the power of supportive gestures, staying present, motivating yourself with compassion, and navigating difficult emotions with resilience.

Throughout the course you will learn to:
– Understand self-compassion
– Integrate self-compassion practices in daily life
– Discover your compassionate voice
– Navigate difficult emotions
– Manage caregiver fatigue and burnout
– Discover your core values

Each class includes short talks, experiential practices, reflections, and group discussions.

Remember, in the face of life’s challenges, practicing kindness to yourself is the ultimate act of self-care.

Ms Teo Kai Lin

Kai Lin is a trained teacher for Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC). She is also a certified teacher for Koru Mindfulness, a mindfulness and stress management programme designed for young adults. She has an M.A. in Contemplative Education and was a polytechnic Associate Lecturer for nine years. She has spent more than 17 years in the public service and the social sector. She is most interested in how we could live our lives with greater presence, authenticity and compassion, and to flourish as human beings.
