Paws B (For ages 8 to 10)

This programme helps children to stay calm, increase concentration and build self-esteem during their early developmental phase. They will also learn about the functions of the brain and how it affects their decisions, actions and emotions.

What will you learn?

  • Different regions and functions of the brain and how it affects your ability to focus, make good choices and balance your mind.
  • How mindfulness can support day-to-day activities including concentration, memory, behavioural and relationship management.
  • Ways to react to challenging situations.

 

Dot B (For ages 11 to 16)

This programme focuses on cultivating awareness in daily life. Your child will learn to identify worry, handle stress and anchor the mind.

What will you learn?

  • Manage impulsive reactions and cultivate emotional intelligence.
  • Improve concentration and focus better in school.
  • Experience better well-being, feel happier, calmer and a greater sense of fulfilment.
  • Cope with difficult mental states such as anxious thoughts, stress and low moods.

Trainer’s profile: Mr. Ong Pee Eng is a qualified teacher for MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and have been practicing mindfulness for more than 30 years. He is also a certified trainer for Paws B, Dot B and ACTA (Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment).
