Online Pledge of Amitabha Buddha Name Chant 阿弥陀佛圣号 线上念诵修持
Chanting “Namo A Mi Tuo Fo”, also known as Namo Amitābha in Sanskrit, is an important practice in Chinese Mahayana Buddhism. The mindful chanting of Amitabha Buddha’s name helps achieve single-minded focus and foster a blissful state akin to the Western Pure Land.
In celebration of the Amitabha Buddha’s Birth Day, we invite you to join our online pledge to chant the Amitabha Buddha’s name. Submit your recitation count and dedicate the merits to your loved ones.

1) Click to pledge your Amitabha Buddha’s name chanting count.
2) Submit:
a. Name
b. Pledge to chant: 108, 540 or 1080 times
c. After you have completed the pledge, please recite “A prayer to Amitabha Buddha”:
“Namo A Mi Tuo Fo”
I humbly wish for –
1) Eradication of all unwholesome karmic deeds
2) Boundless merits
3) Freedom from illnesses and sufferings
4) Good health and freedom from diseases
5) Opportunity to listen and cultivate the Dharma at all times
6) Able to understand and acquire knowledge from various Dharma teachings
7) Blessings from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
8) A stable and uninterrupted mind towards the end of life
9) Buddha’s guidance to the Pure Land at the end of life
10) All sentient beings to be reborn into the Pure Land
d. To complete the Online Pledge of the Amitabha Buddha’s Name Chant, recite the “Dedication of Merits” verse to dedicate the merits to your loved ones:
May I be reborn in the Western Pure Land,
With lotus flowers of the nine ranks as parents;
When the flowers blossom, I shall see the Buddha and awaken to the truth of non-arising,
With non-regressing Bodhisattvas as companions.

五、愿心六时闻妙法。
六、愿念佛常摄多法。
七、愿诸佛菩萨护佑。
八、愿命终心不颠倒。
九、愿命终诸佛接迎。
十、愿众生同登净土。
d. 最后，念《回向偈》圆满功德：
愿生西方凈土中，九品莲花位父母。
花开見佛悟无生，不退菩萨为伴侶。
