根据《佛为首迦长者说业报差别经》，供灯可得十种功德利益：
一、照世如灯
二、随所生处，肉眼不坏
三、得于天眼
四、于善恶法，得善智慧
五、除灭大暗
六、得智慧明
七、流转世间，常不在黑暗之处
八、具大福报
九、命终生天
十、速证涅槃

“Unfettered like a lotus flower, constantly immersed in the serenity of Buddhist practice.”

Light a lotus lamp this Vesak Day and bask in the radiance of our true nature.

According to “The Different Karmic Effects Spoken to Elder Shoujia” Sutra offering light brings about ten merits:
1. One will bring light to the world.
2. One’s eyes will be undamaged, in any future rebirth.
3. One will gain heavenly vision.
4. One will gain the ability to discern wholesome and unwholesome actions.
5. Darkness will be dispelled.
6. One will gain wisdom.
7. One will never be reborn in a realm of darkness.
8. One will accumulate great merits.
9. One will be reborn in a heavenly realm after death.
10. One will attain enlightenment quickly.
